Management Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. The role will suit an individual with experience of the Finance function, who is confident dealing with a wide variety of people. The role is centred around supporting the Finance Operations Manager in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting the end users of the accounts. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, with a proven ability to learn quickly. Key role responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Preparing and posting monthly accruals.
• Prepayments
• Stock
• Monthly/Annual Business Surveys.
• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly expenditure postings.
• Cashbook
• Support on preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Ad hoc Duties
• AP Support
  
  Proven experience in an accounting role, ideally with exposure to month end work
• Strong Excel skills
• Ideally be AAT qualified
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial software
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Preparing and posting prepayments/accruals.
Behavioural competencies

• Good communication skills - written and verbal.
