Full Job Description

In this role you will manage, risk assess and monitor Registered Sex Offenders living within the Thames Valley area under and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).

You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills with experience of communicating with internal/external customers at all levels and dealing with complaints from various sources. The ability to work confidentially and independently in a flexible manner is required along with good analytical skills in order to record and capture fine detail. Due to the nature of the work, you will be emotionally resilient when faced with distressing situations as this is a high trauma role.

Previous experience of writing reports is required together with an interest in digital technology. Experience of risk assessment, investigations, and previous Professionalising Investigations Programme (PIP) 1 accreditation would be useful.

Must have capability to travel to different locations across the Force and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.

Along with all other posts in Force Crime, Intelligence and Specialist Operations Departments, this role will require an enhanced level of vetting. Psychological screening will be required for this role.
