Job Title: Manager
Location: Oasis Bookshop, Romsey, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40-hour week
Job Description:
Oasis Romsey Bookshop is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager to lead our team in Romsey, Hampshire. The ideal candidate will be passionate about books and customer service, with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the bookshop
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control
- Organize in-store events and promotions
- Handle administrative tasks, including budgeting and financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a bookshop or similar environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficient in using retail management software
- Passion for books and the literary world
