Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the Commercial Sales team.

  • Enable, develop, and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build a robust sales pipeline.

  • Coach the team to effectively close new business deals and navigate complex negotiations and organizational structures.

  • Lead the onboarding and ramp process for new Account Executives, accelerating their productivity and capacity.


  • Strategic Execution:
  • Plan and deliver growth for our Commercial business improving acquisition, win rates, deal sizes and deliver quota with consistency

  • Lead various complex customer revenue-generating projects at the regional or global level as part of the EMEA Sales organization.

  • Evangelize and promote the adoption of PagerDuty's validated sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC, Command of the Message) and drive expertise within your team.

  • Actively recruit talented Account Executives for your team, aligning with PagerDuty's hiring criteria.


  • Customer Acquisition and Expansion:
  • Drive new customer acquisition and customer expansion within the geographic territory.

  • Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.

  • Organize and lead weekly forecast meetings to assess the sales pipeline and strategize for future success.

  • Engage internal resources and partners at the right time and in the right manner to move the sales process forward.


  • Pipeline Generation:
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate a strong sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create targeted campaigns and initiatives that drive pipeline growth.

    PagerDuty is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead an Commercial Sales team in the EMEA region. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of EMEA, this role focuses on revenue growth covering acquisition of new accounts and growth of the existing. The role will also include recruitment, enablement, and coaching in order to create a high performing sales team. You will drive revenue growth and ensure the continued successful trajectory of the EMEA business (Global 2000 / >$500M Revenue).   • Every Commercial Sales Manager is in charge of both new customer acquisition and driving customer expansion in a geographic territory. You will also be a valuable contributor to the sales strategy, leading implementation and driving execution to achieve corporate objectives.

    The individual should possess a proven business-to-business application sales and management history preferably in a technical SaaS company.,
  • 5+ years quota-carrying field experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on closing net new logos

  • Exhibit ability to coach, mentor and develop sales talent

  • A track record of accurately forecasting sales results and meeting a quota for Commercial high volume transaction business

  • The ability to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment

  • Reciprocal spirit and communication skills

  • Cooperative and teaming orientated, thinks of company outcomes and team outcomes and is able to work with multiple functions

  • Creates a high performance culture, brings high ownership and knows how to create accountability in the teams they lead


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDICC, SPIN, CoM, Challenger Sales)
