Full Job Description

Are you an IT professional with a talent for managing endpoint devices and optimising user experiences? The NCA is seeking an End User Compute Endpoint Manager to ensure our teams have seamless access to secure and reliable technology, directly supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.

In this role, you'll oversee the management, configuration, and security of endpoint devices, from desktops and laptops to mobiles and tablets. You'll ensure the deployment and maintenance of essential healthcare applications, troubleshoot issues, and support compliance with NHS standards, making technology simple and effective for end users.

Working closely with IT and clinical teams, you'll drive improvements, implement automation, and apply best practices in device management and security. Your expertise in endpoint management, user support, and security will be key to providing a smooth, secure experience for our healthcare staff, helping them work efficiently and focus on patient care.

If you're ready to make an impact in healthcare by shaping a robust, user-friendly computing environment, join the NCA to be part of a mission-driven team where your skills truly matter.

As Manger, EUC Endpoint in the NCA, you will hold a key position in managing and optimising endpoint computing environments crucial to healthcare delivery. Your role will encompass strategic planning, operational management, and technical oversight to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of end-user computing systems.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of endpoint devices such as desktops, VDI, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices across NCA sites. Working closely with other digital teams and vendors, you will ensure that endpoint hardware and software solutions meet the needs of clinical and administrative staff while adhering to NHS standards and policies.

In addition to operational management, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the endpoint computing environment. You will identify opportunities to enhance endpoint performance, streamline processes, and optimise user experience through the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.

As Manger, EUC Endpoint, you will also provide leadership and direction to a team of EUC endpoint support specialists. You will mentor team members, facilitate training programs, and promote a culture of collaboration and innovation to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support services to NCA staff.
