Full Job Description

As part of the European Marketing Services Hub team, the Manager will be focused on leading the financial business operations for European Marketing Services (MS). Marketing Services is a growing business within Visa and delivers value to clients through a range of services, from advisory to execution to sponsorships, via close partnerships with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and our sales organizations. The European Marketing Services Center of Excellence (COE) is focused on supporting our MS teams by sharing best practices, developing training and communications materials, advancing key strategies to drive business growth, and ensuring efficient operating processes. This role will focus on financial operations: supporting and analyzing the European project pipeline in order to provide project visibility across the region and to Visa Executives. In addition, the Manager will work on key strategic projects in partnership with the European Marketing Strategy & Operations team that drive overall Europe Marketing priorities and develop improved processes that drive operational efficiencies for the broader team.   • Own and manage your work product. Lead projects or major project workstreams with limited oversight, reporting to the European Head of Marketing Services.
  • Support monthly process for tracking key projects and anticipated impacts on business (revenue and resource requirements), in partnership with VCA, Finance, and MS teams across Europe, conduct deep dive analyses as needed to identify key trends, issues and opportunities
  • Facilitate ongoing operations across key COE touchpoints, including recurring meetings with Cluster Client Marketing leads, VCA and finance
  • Support key pricing strategy decisions: conduct additional pricing deep dive analyses as needed
  • Determine additional analytic needs/opportunities to support the growth of Marketing Services, including evaluation of project results
  • Develop clear and concise executive level communications
  • Support workstreams related to European Marketing annual planning, including overseeing timelines, managing inputs from team, identifying areas for efficiencies/savings, developing businesses cases for incremental headcount and spend
  • Develop and track annual goals for Marketing Services and the broader EU Marketing team, including partnering with key stakeholders to set the right targets and reconciling goals with business and regional function
  • Identify, develop and implement new process improvements in support of business, including responses to Audit or Operational Risk findings.
  • This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  • Experience in Marketing, Consulting or Research preferred
  • Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytic rigor,
