Full Job Description
- Responsible for study and PRR campaign specific training; liaising with internal stakeholders where required
- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People Clients and Performance.
- Expert knowledge of applicable ICON & Accellacare SOPs, ICH-GCP and applicable regulations
- Expert knowledge of applicable Accellacare & ICON systems
- Reporting on team and study PRR deliverables
- Lead the development of training materials to support PRR, ASN and/or call center operations (Specific to department)
- As needed provide oversight to more junior members of staff assigned to the study, this includes but not limited to delegation of tasks and ensuring accountability.
- Communicate performance indicators of the department: number of leads, number of calls made, conversion rates to telescreen and booking, screen fail rate etc.
- Ensure the integrity of the patient database(s) by performing quality control through automated reporting
- As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs
- Travel (approximately 20%) domestic and/or international. Travel to other sites within the network may be required to support increases in workload and, or studies/projects as needed.
- Support, preparation and attendance at Bid Defense meetings in support ICON business development opportunities.
- Attendance at Kick-off meetings, project meetings as required to input into and discuss recruitment and retention strategies.
- Deliver high quality standards and strive for excellence; Act in a proactive, flexible and responsive manner to both internal and external customer needs
- To undertake other reasonably related duties as my be assigned from time to time
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Extensive experience in Patient Recruitment, preferably within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving results.
- This position is based at our offices in Coventry and requires office attendance at least three days/ week
