We support flexible working arrangements wherever possible., The Regulatory Manager for Global Auto Care is responsible for building and maintaining a robust compliance program in Europe for our automotive Appearance, Performance and Air Freshener products, and setting the strategic regulatory vision to help enable and sustain product development and market growth. Responsibilities Universal Accountabilities

  • Represent Regulatory on cross functional product development and commercialization teams, providing expert guidance on local market regulatory requirements, risk assessments and strategies
  • Ensure local market compliance of new and existing products
  • Review and approve claims, packaging/labeling, and marketing communication materials (aligned within in-house process)
  • Remain current with emerging/changing regulations, interpret complex information and summarize impact for other functions/leadership teams, in a clear, concise and focused manner
  • Interact with industry trade groups and Regulatory authorities
  • Regulatory research
  • Maintain technical and safety documents as appropriate for internal and external stakeholders
  • Specific Accountabilities
  • Work collaboratively with Legal, R&D, Marketing, Packaging and Supply Chain teams to develop and implement robust regulatory strategies
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Regulatory team processes to drive efficiency and enable product development timelines
  • Support implementation of digital transformation initiatives
  • Conduct raw material and formula reviews
  • Provide regulatory guidance text for local market labels
  • Provide required documentation to applicable agencies
  • Represent Energizer Global Auto Care as a subject matter expert in third party associations/committees/working groups
  • Safety Data Sheet creation
  • Chemical and Product registration
  • Chemical use advice to Research and Development during product formulation
  • Researching regulatory requirements
  • Support cross-functional teams to deliver strategic plans
  • Modification and maintenance of database for product information
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, Reports to Senior Regulatory Manager (in UK)
  • Leads two direct reports
  • Key relationships internally will include Regulatory & Government Affairs, Legal, Marketing, Research & Development, and Commercial teams.
  • External engagement with 3 rd party consultants, and external suppliers.

    Excellent English fluency
  • BSc in a related field, with 5+ years of experience and understanding of safety data sheets and chemical formulations
  • Significant knowledge of chemicals regulations and Safety Data Sheets (Europe) pertaining to product ingredients, classification, labelling and packaging
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented to produce accurate and timely results
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
  • Ability to change focus quickly
  • Ability to apply general guidance to varied situations
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft IT packages
  • Experience in consumer goods (preferably chemical)
  • Creative thinker
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
