Full Job Description

To act as a team lead for technical solutions within an agile team

To complete the design of applications and performing code analysis and overall improvement of style and usability

To deliver optimized and scalable solutions ensuring ongoing support requirements are minimized

Identifies and implements improvements to code

Contribute to the architecture and design solutions considering various aspects like extensibility, scalability, performance, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc, and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed

Develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviors, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all aspects of project work

Builds technical documentation for reference and reporting

To translate business requirements into actual technical solutions and document system features / functionalities

Communicate optimally with project collaborators to report on progress against agreed deliverables and escalate any critical issues/blockers

This role is for an engineering manager to lead a development team focusing on (1) Analytics VS Code Extension and Jupyter Notebook Extension - working with the VS Code Extension API and language servers to expose analytics through features like IntelliSense, code snippets and more, (2) Analytics Copilot API which is integrated with VS Code Extension.

Technical requirements:

At least 8 years previous experience in Full Stack, modern Web technologies

Experience in API design (REST, GraphQL)

Experience working with/ developing language servers essential

Experience with VS Code Extension API preferable

Languages: Typescript (Python could also be helpful)

Excellent communication skill

Good problem solving & keen analytical skill

Preferably/Nice to have:

Experience in CI/CD in Azure
