Full Job Description

As a Managing Consultant, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. You will be the primary point of contact between the customer and DC as part of our Global Consulting team based in London. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have deep change management experience and prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.,

  • Management of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders and accounts. Act as a key point of contact and trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm (e.g., Services).
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of Consulting projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery. Manage project teams, provide delivery assurance oversight for resources across the project, allocate resources effectively, monitor the financials of the delivery, including pipeline management of the team/direct reports (rolls-offs, extensions, new opportunities, and pricing).
  • Manage a team of more junior consultants ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development. Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC's values.
  • Identify potential business opportunities within existing and new clients. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and Consulting leadership to develop campaigns, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the growth of DC's Consulting practice.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and drive consulting expertise. Raise awareness of relevant client/industry trends, emerging technologies, regulation, and best practice. Lead on knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
  • Provide career advice and development opportunities for more junior consultants outside of your immediate client project.
  • Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to enhance methodologies, tools, and processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC IP.

    This role is ideal for someone with the right mix of consulting and client management experience as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit. You will combine project delivery know-how, a can-do attitude, and a strong knowledge of and network within the financial services industry., Proven Consulting experience or alternatively in Project Management or Business Analysis within Financial Services.
  • Change management experience: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go-Live.
  • Understanding of Financial Services products and lifecycle events.
  • Some experience managing projects and team members supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
  • Good knowledge of the capital markets eco-system and participants. E.g., sell side, buy side, market infrastructure, etc.
  • You will come from a management consultant background or within a change role in a financial services institution. You must have a blend of both Financial Services knowledge and soft skills across influence, listening, presentation and team management.
  • As an experienced Consultant, you will be expected to be comfortable working on an independent basis and managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
  • You will also be responsible for helping to grow our business by supporting ongoing operations, RFPs and helping to manage junior consultants.
  • It would be great if you had knowledge of any of the following:
  • Regulatory exposure in any of the following: MiFID II / MiFIR, Basel, IBOR, FRTB, CRD & CRR, SFTR, Operational Resilience.
  • Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management.
