As a Managing Consultant in the business you'll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. Our Managers in Life Sciences have a real focus on coaching; whether that be our own team or clients, it is really important that we bring expertise with a "human-feel" at every occasion.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.

  • Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.

  • Learning & development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

    Motivated, collaborative and determined, our managing consultants work in partnership with Life Sciences clients to creatively solve some of their most pressing challenges. Bringing innovation and a hands-on collaborative approach to transforming experiences and outcomes across the value chain from R&D and clinical ops through to manufacturing and commercial. You will be pivotal in our growth within the MedTech sub-sector; as we continue to deliver value to our clients in an environment with accelerated change, emerging technology and new business models., A broad understanding and knowledge of MedTech organisations and the UK MedTech landscape with an ability to support projects across the value chain; with an appreciation of the wider ecosystem that impacts Medical technology i.e. NHS, technology partners, regulators and sector alliances.


  • Specific experience and knowledge in a selection of the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Expertise in medical devices with a strong understanding of AI, data-driven and patient-centric innovation in MedTech

  • Market access and clinical trials for medical devices inc. commercial operations & strategy

  • Strong understanding and experience in medical device product launch, new business models, MedTech strategy and impact on healthcare systems.


  • MedTech manufacturing & supply chain management and process improvement; connecting to complimentary business functions


  • With breadth of demonstrable experience in:

  • Leading a workstream and teams within projects and large programmes.

  • MedTech Industry and/or Consulting environment (> 5 years)

  • Senior client stakeholder management experience.

  • Project management, team leadership and coaching.

  • Business development activities with the ability to story-tell & lead winning proposals.
