Full Job Description

Working with the Clinical Education Manager and Manual Handling Advisor, the Manual Handling Trainer will ensure the provision of high quality manual handling training throughout the Trust.
The Manual Handling Trainer will contribute towards ensuring that manual handling education remains within local and national guidelines, whilst maintaining and promoting Trust policies and procedures. They will maintain patient safety and infection control as consistent threads underpinning all training.
Provide advice, guidance and support to staff Trust wide on manual handling training and education issues.
To make a collective contribution to the Education Department function.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a dedicated individual with a strong focus on training to join our Manual Handling Services team.
Working as part of a wider Clinical Education Team, the successful applicant will be able to enhance their knowledge and skills through the delivery of a comprehensive training programme and completion of workplace assessments.
Applicants must have care experience in an acute care setting, and have a keen interest in all aspects of Manual Handling.
