Manual Machinist

Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer that works with a wide range of metal materials.

They are looking for a new Manual Machinist to join their growing team.

Commutable from Nottingham, Ilkeston, Mansfield, Long Eaton and Derby.

The Role of Manual Machinist:
- Set up and operate a variety of manual machine tools to produce precision parts
- Working with machines including manual millers, manual lathes, manual turners, vertical borers or horizontal borers
- Working from drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
- Quality checking parts using various hand tools
- Maintaining machinery
- Working independently and as part of a team

Experience operating manual milling, manual lathes, manual turning, vertical boring or horizontal boring
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Able to quality check own parts
- Keen to learn new skills and develop
- Motivated and excellent team player
- Able to commute to the NG16 area

Starting salary up to £29k depending on experience
- 7.45am to 5pm Mon-Thus, with a 12.45pm early finish on Fridays
