Full Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, tooling, supply chain, maintenance to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Investigate and develop new processes, methods, and layouts to increase equipment flexibility and improve throughput.
  • Supporting the TPM (M), investigate non-conformities and within the matric environment to alter tooling and or process until deficiency.
  • Analysing and reporting on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational
  • Supporting the TPM (M) with structured problem solving projects linked to both project deliverables and day-to-day manufacturing issues

  • Minimum qualification HND in a mechanical discipline, with significant CAD experience;
  • Higher qualification considered if able to demonstrate genuine interest in pursuing tool design.
  • Training in Lean manufacturing, Continuous improvement, and Statistical Process Control would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil technical information for both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Proven experience of creating and producing manufacturing work instructions and documentation.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and basic metrology skills.
  • Ability to understand the mechanical aspects of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in a metal component processing, including surface finishing. operations for Aerospace components.
  • Excellent IT knowledge (Understanding of MRP & ERP / MS Office products / CAD software - SolidWorks preferable).
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to work shifts.
