Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), The position is based in the Manufacturing & Packaging area and requires the individual to work in accordance with documented procedures / standards in order to complete duties within the allotted timescales and to customer specification. This is a fast-paced position that constantly requires a high volume of productivity and accuracy. The industry sector demands strict quality, product integrity and high levels of accuracy. Discover Impactful Work: Manufacturing Engineer I provides practical expertise and support across the packaging value stream for the introduction of new processes and for improvements to existing processes. In this role you are actively trained to run and complete the jobs and maintain the team and run rates output throughout the day. What will I do:

  • Address and raise EHS and Quality risks and incidents
  • Demonstrate 4i Values
  • Identify and support process improvements using the PPI framework
  • Support coaching, development and training across the department
  • Build and update procedures to support process implementation and improvement
  • Complete and support investigation of deviations and the identification of effective CAPAs
  • Assist in introducing new processes
  • Support in regulatory and client audits
  • Subject Matter Expert for all commercial packaging activities
  • Complete packaging activities according to procedures and instructions
  • Lead teams focused on packaging job completion
  • Operations review of completed Batch Records
  • Team Leader Delegate
  • Undertake other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by your Line Manager

    Experience of working within GMP and operational environments
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement and the PPI 8 step methods and tools
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and inspectors
  • Proficient in personal computer skills; specifically, Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to build good working relationships
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Supervisory experience
  • An understanding of computerized ERP systems such as SAP, or GPM
  • Excellent working knowledge of processes and documentation
