Full Job Description

+ Continuously evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify and implement more efficient and cost-effective processes. + Accomplish improved overall efficiencies and outcomes while maintaining employee safety and upholding product quality standards. + Keep abreast of current industry practice, new equipment etc. + Work effectively with the wider Vistry Works teams and personnel to enable optimum and most cost effective production solutions. most innovative advances available. + Make recommendations of best practice or alternative manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvements by reducing cycle times, process variations, defects, set up times etc. + Create and manage quality supporting data to demonstrate productivity, manning and throughput. + Support improvement projects using LEAN deployment, 5S, 6S and Continuous Improvement methods + Coordinate and monitor planned maintenance schedules with site Maintenance Engineers. + Ensure compliance with all statutory HSE requirements and Vistry Works specific initiatives. + Support and manage new machinery and equipment installation projects in full from initial requirement/concept through to completion.

o 4 GCSEs A-C/4-9. Two of these should be Maths and English. o A minimum of a Level 3/BTEC Diploma/2 A Levels + Desirable o T Level 3 Qualification in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering or related subject o Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills o Professionalism o Strong IT skills and experience of using computers, preferably Excel, Power Projects & Word o Excellent attention to detail o Confident at engaging with our stakeholders with a professional communication style o Able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners o Able to work on your own initiative o Full UK driving licence
