Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a passion for automotive manufacturing? JLR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our expanding Current Manufacturing Engineering (CME) team. This role is key in supporting the production of both internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and our transition to electrified powertrain technology. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic process team working closely with our Manufacturing Operations and Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) departments. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production tasks, driving process improvements, and ensuring the successful handover of new equipment and facilities. You will play a critical role in delivering our safety, quality, and efficiency goals. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Fully responsible for daily personal management, including workload, objectives and deliverables
  • Take ownership of tasks across Operations, Engineering (Product Development), and PTME departments
  • Utilize your process knowledge to improve facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality output and equipment capability
  • Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 standards and support audits at all levels

    Proven process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in quality control tools such as PFMEA, Control Planning, and Process Audits
  • Strong knowledge of assembly protocols and the ability to interpret data from quality tools like Engineering Workstation and SAP
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience in tools like GSPAS, simulation, and virtual environments
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and support projects from early concept stages through to production
  • A good understanding of engineering principles, including the ability to review engineering drawings and CAD interpretation
