Full Job Description
As the Programme Engineer for Industrial Operations Programme Delivery (IOPD) Manufacturing, you'll be responsible for leading and co-ordinating all Manufacturing business functions with the objective of enabling production solutions for new JLR Vehicle Programmes and achieving excellence in Manufacturing delivery to time, cost and quality targets.,
- Support delivery of Programme against overall timing plan for all gateways
- Support the planning and delivery of manufacturing plans for delivery prototype, pre-production build phases and J1
- Prepare accurate and objective technical status reports in support of programme/launch management meetings and senior programme gateway reviews.
- Support use of project management tools to support a smooth project delivery (Agile methodologies, P6)
- Support all manufacturing functions in the robust resolution of programme issues to deliver product feasibility and manufacturing launch readiness.
Experience of project management - Experience in using data driven problem solving techniques
- Knowledge of working in a new product launch environment within Manufacturing
- Experience of working in a quality focussed role
