Full Job Description
- Manage a team of engineers (internal or external) in the successful implementation and lifecycle management of Manufacturing Systems and data, adhering to safety, standards, quality, compliance & cost. Systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), DNC, OEE, Automation Network, OSI PI, Cybersecurity; this list will evolve as technologies develop.
- Establish project and operational measurements, goals, and outcomes
- Collaborate with teams from various departments to ensure flawless execution of project plans and maintenance of systems.
- Develop and maintain project and operational schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement
- Effectively communicate project updates to all relevant parties, including senior management
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to continuously improve engineering processes
- Plans for and manages how systems are support out of business hours
- Providing (User) training to users
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in engineering
- 5 years of Automation Engineering/Manufacturing Systems Lead experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Highly organized with strict attention to detail
- Ability to compete effectively in a highly competitive market
