Full Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician with Mechanical skills to join our production team based in High Wycombe to help manufacture our products, ensuring an effective and efficient operation to meet our agreed quality, timescale, and cost objectives.,

  • From team production plan, manage personal workload ensuring all milestones are achieved.
  • Operate only within the Quality policy and adherence to SOP procedures as defined in the OI Dozuki platform.
  • Maintain a flexible attitude and approach to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Establish and maintain close and effective working relationships with other members of the team.
  • Embrace core values - demonstrate trust and respect for one another and maintain professional conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policy and procedures. Report all accidents, near misses, and observations to your line manager and on Shield.
  • Recognise team customers, both internal and external, and strive to fully satisfy their needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the business.
  • Undertake additional tasks requested by the Team Leader.
  • Using agreed measures, monitor and report on progress and initiate corrective action as required (e.g. quality, on time delivery, yield, rework and scrap).
  • Utilise best practice processes, techniques and improvement methods, continually seeking to suggest and support improvement initiatives.
  • Actively support Inventory Control methods.
  • Act as a mentor for Junior Technicians and Technicians in ensuring success for the team.
  • Proactively support the Team Leader in maintaining process discipline.

    Has flexible range of skills across cells and products.
  • Experience gained within a Production/Manufacturing Setting
  • Mechanical skills
