We are a leading company in the manufacture of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) making some of the world's best loved brands like Gillette, Fairy and Oral. Here at our Manchester Plant, we are currently looking to recruit highly motivated, flexible technicians to join our Pampers manufacturing team. Technicians will join a multi-skilled team responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting of complex process technology and daily running of the production line, to produce a high quality product that improves the lives of consumers. The plant operates 24 hours a day and individuals would be required to work a 12.5 hour shift pattern including days and nights. We are looking for individuals who show leadership potential and embrace change, and who can demonstrate working effectively as part of a team to deliver high quality results. We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a proven practical background of applying process, operational, mechanical skills to help solve production and equipment related losses.

- Are willing to suggest and implement changes that will improve systems, work processes and equipment reliability.
- Are strong team players who possess excellent verbal and written communicated skills that allow cross-shift and function interaction.

Competitive Salary: You will join on our starting pay and spend your first six to nine months qualifying into your role. Once you have qualified, you will move to our level two pay. 5-day shift patternStarting pay with shift premium - £36,902.32Level 2 pay with shift premium - £40,436.247-day shift patternStarting pay with shift premium - £40,126.32Level 2 pay with shift premium - £43,660.24 - Generous Pension: The Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.
- Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.
- 1-4-1 Shares: For every share that you purchase, the Company will purchase a share on your behalf. You can contribute up to 2.5% of your salary into the 1-4-1 Share Plan, up to a maximum of £150 a month.
