Full Job Description

This role focuses on supporting Business Planning and Performance within the Maritime & Sustainability team. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President to ensure clear, documented processes and plans for our key deliverables across the entire Maritime & Sustainability domain. In this position, you will coordinate and support key initiatives across the Maritime & Sustainability function, engaging stakeholders at all levels. You'll work with the Maritime Data and Analytics team to identify performance improvement areas and collaborate with stakeholders to develop actionable improvement plans. You will take ownership of the "on the business" agenda and related activities, effectively managing the monthly operating rhythm for Maritime. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Business Risk, Knowledge Management, and Objective Tracking, while also enhancing culture and communication efforts with the Maritime & Sustainability Leadership Team (MSLT). You will also coordinate meetings of the Shore Senior Management Team (SSMT) and other key business forums, facilitating communication between business units. This includes managing performance communications to ships, streamlining interactions between ship and shore teams, and compiling relevant themes and issues to share with leadership. In partnership with the VP of Maritime Planning and Performance, EVP of Maritime and Sustainability, and MSLT, you will ensure visibility of business issues and risks, assisting in the development and management of strategies to address them.,

  • Work closely with the Vice President to support key initiatives and projects. This will include working directly with the EVP Maritime and Sustainability and MSLT as required.
  • Providing a point of contact within Maritime & Sustainability to respond to issues/risks and work with the relevant stakeholder to ensure plans are in place and progressed bridging communication between business units as required.
  • Responsible for managing the Maritime "On the business" calendar. Ensuring a collective view on tactical activity across the Maritime & Sustainability team and ensuring the relevant teams are engaged. This includes working with Maritime & Sustainability teams to ensure that it is up to date and flagging key activities and concerns with leadership and working with the Project team to understand operational ship load.
  • Key conduit within Maritime & Sustainability within operational and tactical forums, being an integrator with Brand and other teams across the business.
  • Coordinate and respond to matters on behalf of the VP or EVP, deciphering urgency and ensuring that relevant actions are identified and progressed at an appropriate pace delivering briefings as required
