Join Our Team as a Maritime Trainer at Fleetwood Nautical Campus!
Are you passionate about maritime engineering and eager to inspire the next generation of seafarers and maritime professionals? Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maritime Trainer to deliver high-quality practical and theoretical training to our diverse students across apprenticeship, Further Education (FE), and Higher Education (HE) pathways. Join us in shaping the future workforce of the maritime industry!
What You'll Do:
Deliver engaging and effective practical and theoretical training sessions tailored to individual learning needs.
Create, assess, and refine training materials, including online resources, to enhance student learning experiences.
Monitor curriculum development, quality improvement initiatives, and recruitment activities, including interviews and Open Days.
Promote and maintain health and safety standards while fostering a culture of excellence.
What You'll Bring:
A passion for maritime engineering and a strong desire to mentor and develop students.
Possession of a subject-specific professional qualification, such as an Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) ticket or a Level 7 degree in a STEM subject.
Commitment to continuous professional development and fostering student success.
