Sodexo Live! has an amazing opportunity for an exceptionally talented Market Hall Supervisor to lead the operations of our prestigious food concession hall at the Fulham Pier.

You will assist in ensuring that matchday and regular catering operations provide an unparalleled customer experience.

You will support the Market Hall Manager in maintaining operational excellence and contract delivery, while simultaneously building and maintaining relationships with a range of external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction is met. You will assist in bringing fresh food concepts to life and ensure that crucial KPIs are met.

You will be the first person to hold this position and therefore will have the opportunity to make it your own!

The Fulham Pier will become the heart of the community and the standard bearer for indulgent experiences, which will attract both Londoner's and tourist from all over the world.

  • Manage and motivate a large team and maintaining uniform standards within the Market Hall

  • Assist in delivering staff training plans

  • Assist in ensuring food and beverage units are set up according to the SOP, and provide operational assistance as needed

  • Liaise with traders and resolve operational concerns, ensure stock levels are suitable, and assist with effective shift management

  • Work with contractors, including cleaning and maintenance, to maintain operational efficiency

  • Comply with Sodexo's Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and processes

  • Assist in ensuring that direct reports and on-site staff adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations

  • Support in managing the day-to-day and matchday operational challenges, such as handling stock, staff scheduling, and customer service during high-traffic periods

  • Collaborate with the Market Hall Manager to ensure compliance with the stadium and logistics site regulations

  • Help address any immediate operational concerns, such as equipment failure, staff shortages, or unexpected demand, ensuring minimal disruption to service

    It is essential that you are experienced in the supervision or food concession units or cluster food establishment management.


  • You will have the ability, confidence and motivational skills to successfully manage large diverse teams.

    You will have an eye for continuous improvement and the influencing skills to implement change and uphold quality.

    Above all you will take delight in delivering the optimum service to our clients and remarkable experiences to our guests.

    You will also have:
  • Previous experience in contract catering or retail in a supervisory rol.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of handling operational challenges

  • Positive, hands-on attitude with flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • A solid background in working with key stakeholders internally and externally to achieve targets

  • The flexibility to work 5 over 7 days

  • A guest first approach and able to adapt style to a broad range of experiences

    You will be rewarded with a salary of between £30,000 and £40,000 plus access to a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution, and life assurance - 1 x annual salary.
