Full Job Description
Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services. An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Town Centre Market team at Redditch Borough Council. A Market Manager is required to oversee and manage the operation and development of a busy town centre market. We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking individual with the drive to develop the new outdoor market and maximise commercial opportunities. Experience in a Managerial role in a market setting or similar is essential together with knowledge of market operations and policies. The candidate will need to be confident in managing a budget and have the ability to develop commercial business opportunities. The candidate will be expected to manage a small team and be responsible for ensuring the market is compliant with health and safety legislation. The candidate must be willing to work outside of normal office hours including weekend working.
