Full Job Description

Global Finance Modernization (GF Mod) is a multi-year transformation to enable Global Finance to achieve its vision of being a strategic advisor to the business where Finance is shaping and leading critical strategic initiatives across the enterprise, driving growth, and creating enterprise value.

This program focuses on all aspects of Finance, including transformation across our people, processes, operating model, and technology. GF Mod will improve the employee experience and allow Finance to deliver a more seamless and consistent experience to its customers.

As a Market Training Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enabling new ways of working, driving the successful implementation of a Finance technology system, and informing process improvements across the Global Finance team. This person will report to the Overall Change Management Lead.

You will be responsible for localizing and executing a comprehensive training strategy to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new Finance systems, tools, and processes. You will deliver the training strategy in adherence with the overall change strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of change management, strong project management skills, and ability to effectively train employees at all levels and cultures.

What will my accountabilities be?

  • Collaborate with GF Mod Program Training Lead to develop a robust training strategy that aligns with the objectives of the GF Mod program

  • Validate a thorough assessment of training needs across various departments and user groups to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training plans

  • Cascade high-quality training materials, including user manuals, online tutorials, videos, and other resources to support end-users in understanding and utilizing the new finance systems effectively

  • Support engaging training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees, finance professionals, and managers. Leverage a consistent and comprehensive training approach that is user-friendly, and tailored to different audiences

  • Collaborate with Market Finance teams to identify and train a network of champions or superusers who can provide ongoing training and support to employees within their respective teams

  • Work closely with the GF Mod Market change management lead to develop and implement change communication plans, ensuring employees are aware of the benefits and features of the new finance systems and are prepared for the transition

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the training program through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and user assessments, and continuously refine the training materials and delivery methods based on feedback and performance data

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and project management to ensure seamless integration of the Finance system and alignment with organizational objectives

  • Maintain comprehensive training documentation, including training schedules, attendance records, and evaluation reports. Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders


  • What Team will I be a part of?

    You will be part of the UK&I Transformation team. This small but hugely important team connects people across our business to focus on delivering the right projects, in the best way, to achieve our business goals. It proactively and independently challenges and innovates, working diligently to improve the way we work and deliver change as a business.

    In this role you will also dotted line into a Global Change Team who are accountable for the full Global Finance Modernisation Programme, of which the UK&I is one market. This team will lead the Global Change methodology, for which you will localize for the UK&I.

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading training initiatives, including the implementation of cloud-based Finance systems

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and train individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency in designing and delivering engaging training sessions using various methodologies

  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
