  • Leading on marketing analytics to help the team to understand how marketing activity is performing, and where the key opportunities for growth are across our B2B and B2C activity
  • Interpreting complex datasets and providing actionable insights to support strategic marketing decisions across the full marketing mix, from digital marketing activity to events and Above The Line campaigns,
  • Work with the marketing team to define the appropriate metrics for each piece of activity to reflect our business goals
  • Build and maintain marketing performance dashboards, bringing together multiple data sources to enable the marketing team to understand how their activity is performing
  • Make recommendations to improve marketing activity performance, both in-channel and across workstreams within the marketing function
  • Create compelling data visualisations to share performance updates with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
  • Translate complex datasets to tell the story and customer intent that sits behind the data, and upskill the marketing team to do so
  • Challenge the integrity and consistency of the data and work with our Data and Insights function to ensure all marketing performance data is accurate, reliable and consistent across departments
  • Run our weekly and monthly trading reports to keep us on track with our commercial goals and make key stakeholders aware of current performance trends
  • Challenge marketing team to conduct A/B testing wherever possible and effectively measure the results to help us continually optimise performance

  • Help the marketing team to understand our customers' intent, sentiment and reaction to specific campaigns by running pre-campaign customer testing
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed

Marketing analytics experience: minimum 2 years experience in marketing analysis or a related field
  • Technical expertise: proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Google Analytics, SQL, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills: you not only need to be great at data analysis, you will then need to shape it into compelling narratives to guide and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Learning Mindset: inquisitive and curious, with a focus on building positive feedback loops to continuously improve marketing campaigns
  • Ability to prioritise: and think critically - there's always a lot going on and loads of cool things we could do. You need to be able to decipher which tasks we should do
  • A data-driven approach: if you can't measure it, you can't improve it, so you need the ability to identify and solve problems, comfortable presenting and visualising data, plus attention to detail.
  • Self-starter: eager to learn and thrive in a high-functioning and fast paced environment, along with strong project management skills.
