Marketing Apprentice

As a Marketing Apprentice at Omar, you will support the marketing team in various activities to promote the group's brands, products, and services. This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with practical experience in marketing while you work towards a recognised qualification. You will assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, content creation, and market research, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the field.,

• Marketing Support

+ Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
+ Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.

• Content Creation

+ Contribute to content creation for our website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
+ Help in drafting and editing marketing copy, blog posts, and newsletters.

• Market Research

+ Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and gain competitor insight.
+ Analyse market data and provide recommendations based on research findings.

• Social Media Management

+ Assist in managing and updating social media platforms and content.
+ Monitor social media engagement and respond to customer enquiries and comments.

• Event Coordination

+ Support the planning and execution of marketing events, shows, and promotional activities.
+ Assist with logistics, coordination, and post-event follow-up


• Administrative Tasks

+ Perform administrative tasks related to marketing projects, such as maintaining databases and preparing reports.
+ Provide general support to the marketing team as needed.


• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.


• A genuine interest in marketing and a desire to learn and develop within the field.


• Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing concepts.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools is a plus.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.


• Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a positive attitude.


• Detail-oriented and organised with a proactive approach.


• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities


Training & Development:

• Qualification: Enrol in a Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification


• Support: Receive on-the-job training, mentoring from experienced marketing professionals, and regular feedback to support your development.
