Marketing Assistant

Primary responsibility

The Marketing Administrator is a key role within the business, responsible for supporting the sales and marketing functions with all administration duties to enable the departments to run smoothly and efficiently.

This role will include:

Sales Administration

  • Proactively engage with the sales team on any queries.
  • New lead creation and allocation to the sales team.
  • Creating lists and data management.
  • Ensure that data and information is accurate and up to date.

Marketing

  • On going data enrichment projects.
  • Ad hoc updating of marketing assets.
  • Design of internal presentations.
  • Prepare training documents and liaise with CPD for certification. 
  • Venue searching for events and conferences – main contact for event planning and logistics.  
  • Set up email campaigns
  • Monitor competitor and industry news. 

Role objectives

  • To be successful in this role you will be required to:
  • Possess excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Are able to communicate verbally with a good telephone manner and ability to handle incoming & outgoing calls.    
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and achieving a team as well as individual targets.
  • Have experience of following standards and procedures and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Experience using Design suites such as InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Canva (preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, ideally Dynamics 365 (preferred but not essential).
  • Have excellent copywriting skills. 
  • Possess creativity to develop campaigns and future strategies.
  • Are able to use standard Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Are able to multi-task and prioritise activities required of you.
  • Can understand and follow the procedures surrounding confidentiality and working with confidential information.
