We are looking for talented individuals to join the company, in return we offer an exciting and challenging career path and excellent work/life balance with a 4 day week (Mon-Thurs) and flexible working arrangements., A unique opportunity has arisen for a Sandwich Degree Student to join our Communications team on a 12 Month Marketing & Communications Placement from June 2025. This role is based from our site in Ampthill, Bedfordshire and benefits from our 4xFlex working pattern offering a 4 day working week Mon - Thu, hybrid and flexible working (typically 2-3 days a week onsite) You will be joining a team charged with supporting the business with all internal and external marketing & communications, you'll provide support to the team in conducting communications, Public Relations activities and community engagement programmes to improve the company's relations with our customers, public, industry, shareholders and employees. During the 12 month period you will work with many stakeholders both inside and outside of the company and be exposed to a wide range of activities, including; internal communications, shows and events, education outreach activities, marketing communications including promotional giveaways and graphic design. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of communications plans.
  • Provide exhibition support, both creative and organisational.
  • Plan, prepare and disseminate information internally and externally.
  • Participate in education outreach and fundraising activities.
  • The successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance. More details can be found here

  • Sandwich degree student currently studying for a Marketing or related business degree
  • Motivation and a desire to contribute to a dynamic business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and enthusiastic with energy and commitment
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team
  • The ability to prioritise and multi-task where required
  • Background in public relations, marketing or business studies
  • Passion for the aerospace, space and defence industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
