By the time a pupil leaves St Swithun's she will be well-educated, courageous, compassionate, committed and selfconfident with a love of learning, a moral compass and a sense of humour., role the department comprises the head of marketing and communications, the marketing and communications officer and marketing events officer. The department works closely with colleagues across all areas of school life, particularly with the admissions team, operations, teaching staff and senior and prep SLT. The department is responsible for all external communications involving the school. It promotes the school to key audiences including current and potential parents and students as well as the local community. It also protects the reputation of the school, locally, nationally and internationally. The department has been recognised for its excellent work including being shortlisted for the digital award at the recent AMCIS conference., marketing professional to join St Swithun's as a marketing and communications assistant. The marketing and communications assistant is responsible for supporting marketing activity across both the prep and senior schools. You will be expected to support with campaigns, advertising, PR, social media, publications, events, marketing content, online presence, data entry and analysis into the CRM school database. This is a dynamic, forward-looking department and the role will suit a motivated, organised, confident individual seeking a busy and varied role.,

  • Photography and videoing of school events and activities to support social media activity and publications and responsibility
  • for checking these against photo consents. Editing and publicising both where required.
  • Tracking all campaign, advertising, editorial and directory deadlines and liaising with team members and suppliers to ensure
  • materials are supplied in good time and to specification.
  • Providing social media and digital support under the guidance of the marketing team.
  • Providing help with the setting up of, and attendance at, school events as required with occasional evening or weekend
  • working for which time will be given in lieu.
  • Maintenance of the school website and CRM database including the production of regular reports. Updating of the school
  • database with post-event attendance as required.
  • Monitoring stock levels of promotional items to ensure sufficient levels for events and mailings., All staff are expected to share and support this commitment and applicants must be willing to undergo child
