The Marketing and Communications Assistant role is part of the Marketing and Communications team, you report to the Head of Marketing & Communications and the Marketing or Communications Managers. The Marketing & Communications Assistant provides crucial support and administrative provision to the wider Marketing & Communications team.

Our beautiful Grade 2 listed theatre attracts a dedicated audience from across the region, drawing in over 300,000 visitors annually to a variety of productions, including West End musicals, one-night concerts, comedy, ballet, opera and more. With a capacity of 2000, Sunderland Empire is the largest seated theatre between Edinburgh and Manchester. Over the years we have hosted the biggest West End musicals and featured an array of stars, while ensuring we continue to foster new talent and nurture those who will be the future of our creative industries with classes, recitals and community work all part of our DNA.
