Full Job Description
Responsible for the management of Porsche Cars Great Britain social media channels and content curation, and generating demand through paid media campaigns - to build brand awareness, attract new customer acquisition and maintain customer loyalty. This role is highly creative and requires a multi skilled and adaptable candidate with strong attention to detail. Core Specific Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Marketing Communications Manager to develop the Porsche Cars GB social media strategy, in alignment with the strategic direction of the central team in Germany (Porsche AG).
- Responsible for all Social Media content management and curation in conjunction with an external agency, including:
- Developing the current Social Media platform strategy and identifying future opportunities
- Keeping at the forefront of industry developments.
- Driving growth and engagement across key local platforms.
- Management of the UK content calendar to ensure it is creative, engaging and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Developing a local content asset library, through curation/adaptation of existing assets and new content production where required.
- Strong storytelling skills and experience with ability to identify relevant brand stories from existing sources.
- Co-ordinating with the other Marketing Communications Executive for content publishing across owned digital platforms.
- Measuring success including in-depth analysis and optimisation of platform/channel performance.
- Develop content sharing processes with other business functions.
- Together with the external agency generating and communicating monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Delivering Live Marketing at key events, i.e. Goodwood Festival of Speed, and working closely with global social and communications teams.
- Supporting the Retail team with Social Media and Content activities within the Porsche Centre Network to be a 'best practice' example.
- Responsible for campaign delivery across product launches and brand communications, from initial brief to delivery and reporting, working closely with stakeholders, the Marketing Communications Manager and agency partners to deliver against the annual comms plan.
- This candidate is a Brand champion and highly creative individual, able to identify opportunities for communicating the brand purpose and reaching new audiences, working closely with our Partnerships team as required to develop opportunities.
- Daily contact and management of Agency Partners. General:
- Provide support for PCGB national events and Centre Launch events where required.
- Processing POs & Invoices for the Communications team and maintaining budget tracking.
- Assisting with year-end reconciliation and P Submissions throughout the year.
- Continue to suggest and develop innovative and inspiring ideas, ensuring Porsche moves with the customer/product market. Core Accountabilities:
- To understand and assist in the delivery of Marketing Communications plan and objectives.
- Take ownership for personal development needs in anticipation of Business requirements.
- Contribute fully within the team, ensuring the right environment is maintained and use initiative to identify relevant opportunities.
- Ensure the appropriate level of management control and system exploitation is applied to all relevant systems.
Proven experience in social media management. - Excellent attention to detail and copywriting/copy-proofing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and agencies.
- Proven digital media buying experience
- Experience within the luxury industry or working on luxury products Related Studies/Qualifications:
- Qualification in Business Studies, Marketing, Sales or other relevant Bachelor Arts degree. Required IT-skills:
- Excellent level of PC literacy, including MS Office. Preferred language knowledge:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge or spoken and written German would be an advantage. Other requirements:
- A pro-active worker, self-starter and good team player.
- Good project management skills, including the ability to take on, manage and develop own projects from brief to delivery.
