Full Job Description

This is an exciting time at Bishop Auckland College Group and we are seeking a passionate and skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team. With a new Principal, a new strategic plan set to launch and an exciting rebrand underway, there has been no better time to join the group. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues internally, and work with external partners, to coordinate our marketing activity, lead campaigns, support events and showcase our wonderful students.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and driven individual who has sound knowledge and experience of marketing and communication strategies. They will have a knowledge of marketing collateral design and print, and the ability to use content management systems for web editing. The individual should also have meticulous attention to detail, including excellent copywriting, proof-reading and editing skills.

The candidate will have the ability to think creatively, they will generate new ideas and follow these through to completion. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or hold a level 5 professional qualification. They will also hold a marketing/events (or related) qualification. It is desirable that the candidate will also hold a formal IT qualification.

Applicants will have substantial, relevant practical experience in marketing/recruitment events and working within a marketing events function. They will be able to demonstrate academic and industry or commercial experience, and should be able to evidence that they have effectively dealt with a wide range of individuals and external organisations. They should also have sound experience of project planning and budget management.
