Full Job Description

As business revenues have significantly grown from $1.8B to $2.4B in just five years, the dynamic reinsurance marketing team continues to expand to respond to the new growth opportunities. The marketing executive will play an integral role in supporting a passionate and personable distributed team. As we encourage our 4,500 colleagues, raise the business's profile and generate demand for our capabilities, the executive will work across a variety of tactics, channels and marketing platforms. Key responsibilities include events management, communications, social media, and marketing operations, with an exciting opportunity to learn new skills across the marketing mix. The position is a hybrid role based in London. What the day will look like

  • Events: Support client events with invitations, on-site branding, collateral, giveaways and guiding on process.
  • Creative: Collaborate with our design team to brief-in a variety of projects, handle timelines and share feedback to achieve outstanding content across mediums including brochures, social media tiles, headshots, and invitations.
  • Communications: With guidance from our Head of Internal Communications and Head of Media Relations, your responsibilities will include using writing and proofing skills to support internal comms, set-up email campaigns, handle distribution lists, design graphics, help to set-up and coordinate town halls, media interviews and media lists, and draft appointment press releases.
  • Social media: Follow Aon's brand guidelines to build social tiles using Adobe Express templates, feeding ideas for organic updates, supervising social leads, working with our digital agency to help implement paid social campaigns.
  • Marketing operations: Running foundations of our campaigns with data and technology across Monday.com for project management, Eloqua for email automation, Kentico for report uploads.
  • Performance analysis: Help measure the impact of our marketing efforts by extracting and analyzing our marketing campaigns as we continue to improve our strategies.
  • Product marketing and thought leadership: Opportunities to work with subject matter authorities to produce product content and thought leadership. This will include helping to review drafts, create copy, design and uploading to our digital platforms. Collaborate with marketing leaders to deliver campaigns across channels such as thought leadership, digital and print marketing materials, website, blogs, social, colleague guides, and webinars.
  • Team: You will report into the Chief Marketing Officer for Reinsurance and work closely with team leaders to complete projects and learn about strategic marketing.

    Marketing and/or corporate experience of 3-4 years
  • Ability to adopt technology and learn quickly
  • Excellent proofing and writing skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Communication skills that enable you to listen, be curious and establish relationships
  • Efficient and quick to respond
  • Good PPT skills; Excel a bonus
  • Education: A-Level or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
