Full Job Description

The Marketing Manager role is responsible for leading strong consumer focused (and HCP focused where required) brand marketing activities with the key objective of delivering sales and profit in line with agreed business objectives.   • Support management of the financial performance of assigned brand(s), including input into the annual planning process and LE forecasting process
  • Lead cross functional team for successful strategy development and implementation for existing OTC brands and NPI
  • Develop objectives, strategy and execution plans for assigned brand(s)
  • Delivery of cut-through consumer (& HCP) communications across all touch points in collaboration with key agency partners, on time and on budget
  • Manage internal approval process of consumer/customer facing communications in collaboration with regulatory and medical team
  • Lead the evaluation of marketing activities providing recommendations for optimisations / corrective action where necessary and make recommendations for future plans
  • Lead analysis of brand(s) in market performance providing recommendations for optimisations / corrective action where necessary
  • Manage brand(s) marketing budget and give recommendations for optimisation where appropriate
  • Support and guide more junior members of the marketing team

    Bachelor degree or relevant degree
  • Marketing qualification i.e. degree, CIM
  • Significant experience in OTC Brand Management role, with a high level of working experience of PAGB compliance processes
  • Track record of developing winning plans across the marketing mix and strong awareness of UK media landscape including digital and PR
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong competence in data analysis and insight development
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and grasp of the brand P&L and its drivers, Experience of NPI development, launch with an understanding of POM - P switch process
  • Strong understanding of the UK retail trade and community pharmacy
