Lead and manage the marketing vision to maximise venue income and attendance levels. To deliver all aspects of marketing, advertising, and event activation for the site. To publicise events at the venue and generate interest throughout the local/national circuit. A venue representative portraying the positive image of the venue amongst promoters, event organisers, the public and media. To create engaging content for a variety of platforms.   • Participate actively in the development of business strategies and policies for the venues as part of the senior management team.
  • Produce, approve, and deliver marketing content that aligns with venue brand guidelines.
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate event marketing campaigns for the venue.
  • Propose, agree, and manage marketing budgets.
  • Regularly update the venue's website and execute digital marketing campaigns.
  • Proactively manage the venue's social media platforms, channels, and accounts.
  • Oversee and manage public relations (PR) activities related to the venue's events.
  • Effectively manage relationships with promoters and external suppliers, including media buyers, mailing houses, and creative agencies.
  • Collaborate with regional arts and tourism agencies to maximize promotional opportunities and align with regional initiatives.
  • Ensure the daily management of all front-of-house displays, such as leaflet racks, poster boards, internal/external window displays, and ticketing displays.
  • These responsibilities focus on strategy, marketing execution, vendor management, and day-to-day operational oversight.

    Proven experience in a similar role or recognized qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Specific experience in marketing campaign management, ideally within the arts, entertainment, or events industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and regional entertainment offers and venues to ensure relevant and effective marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns within an arts, entertainment, or venue context.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to produce, proofread, and edit high-quality marketing materials that align with brand guidelines.
  • Proven ability to interpret and analyse marketing data to derive actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage conflicting demands, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing and allocating dedicated marketing budgets effectively to ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Proven ability to present ideas clearly and negotiate effectively with stakeholders, including external suppliers and internal teams.
  • Awareness of trends in popular culture and entertainment to develop culturally relevant marketing strategies.
  • Previous experience managing public relations (PR) activities and working with external media outlets to maximise venue exposure.
