Are you a successful, experienced Marketing Manager? We have a position on a Fixed Term Contract to the end of June 2025 Do you possess an understanding of the Social Housing and Domestic Retrofit Sectors and varying funding streams. Do you have a flexible approach to supporting networking and client award opportunities As Marketing Manager for Next Energy you will create and own an insight driven marketing strategy for B2C Retrofit products and services, design and lead in the implementation the customer journey to educate, engage and convert new and existing commercial customers. To develop and execute marketing strategies for scale and growth of retrofit installed services through, brand awareness and lead generation. The Role:
- Create and deliver the strategic marketing plan for B2C retrofit propositions.
- Drive brand awareness and lead generation marketing activity based on data driven decision, targeting high energy use customer segments identified through sector/customer/demographic insights.
- Develop and lead the online content strategy for retrofit installed services.
- To work closely with the Leadership Team to deliver integrated strategic plans to achieve shared KPI's and 3-year plan.
- Be customer focused, creating and delivering engaging, results driven campaigns from acquisition through to nurture
- Understand the basics of referral mechanics, conversion optimization and SEO, and expertise in these channels is highly desirable.
- Highly data-driven and have strong data skills, with a deep desire to understand users and improve their experience at every opportunity.
- Research, translate and communicate industry and customer insights to internal stakeholders, and utilise to inform proposition development and campaigns
- Set and deliver goals/KPIs for all marketing activities with evaluations and ROI to be measured and reported monthly - continual ROI and performance improvement
- In line with the company's vision, analysis and proposals for business growth opportunities, which would contribute to incremental profit for the business
- Undertake any other activities as requested by the Senior Management Team
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing or business related subject - 5 years marketing experience, preferably in a B2C or similar environment
- Fully experienced with significant evidence of having developed effective customer insight and translated this into successful customer propositions and initiatives
- Fully confident in preparing and delivering marketing and campaign activity plans
- Commercially astute and able to demonstrate ROI
- Evidence of having delivered effective multi-channel marketing activities, including website, SEO, PPC, EM, DM, PR, social media, business development/sales collateral, etc
- Solid project management skills
- Effective stakeholder and relationship manager with expert communications skills
- Highly numerate with budget management experience
- Curious in nature and keen to understand the 'why' behind the 'what' and 'how'
- Organised, accountable and driven - self-motivated and not need (or want) to be micro-managed
- Preferably holds a post graduate marketing qualification
- Experience of working in B2C environments
