Full Job Description

Working under the Group Head of Marketing, you will work alongside two Regional Marketing Managers and Digital Marketing Technical Manager. You will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of circa eight employees., Work closely with the Group Head of Marketing to help create, deliver, monitor and review brand, marketing, digital and offline strategies to deliver clear outputs for all areas of the business.
Manage, lead and coach a team including Content Manager, Copywriters and Social Media experts in their roles and support their development both personally and as a team.
Help the Head of Marketing to deliver all marketing campaigns and activities across the business, ensuring that the impact and return on investment is evaluated and constantly reviewed.
Forecast and scale existing marketing channels, tools, infrastructure and other relevant marketing elements to achieve growth targets.
Support the Group Head of Marketing in the delivery of project work relating to the marketing function, as well as other departments across the business such as HR, Sustainability, BNG, Strategic Land and more.
Devise new and creative ways of building our brand, including but not limited to our website and social media channels.
Remain informed of developments and trends within the marketing and property / housebuilding sectors, ensuring we are able to adapt to new opportunities and capitalise positively on opportunities within the marketplace.
Be able to extract data and information to support marketing activity from a small key number of software systems including a CRM system, using this data to inform decision making.
Support the Group Head of Marketing to manage the marketing budget ensuring that spend is optimised and enhanced to drive exceptional growth.
Prepare and present regular updates, management information and reports to the Group Sales and Marketing Director and Group Head of Marketing.
Manage relationships with external advertising and PR agencies ensuring efficient and effective methods of working.

Experience working as a Marketing Manager with a proven track record of success and managing an effective team.
Working previously within the construction or property sector is desirable.
Experience developing effective marketing campaigns across a wide range of marketing channels, including, digital, social media and offline channels.
Qualifications and Training

Degree in marketing or relevant qualification is desirable.
Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is desirable.
Skills and Aptitude

Excellent digital, numerical, listening, written, and negotiating skills.
Ability to think strategically and deliver initiatives successfully.
Strong understanding of data and analytics, with an ability to interpret information relating to sales and marketing performance.
Ability to challenge current practices effectively.
Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Enthusiastic, positive, and motivated with a flexible approach to work.
Proficient use of IT systems including CRM and website CMS platforms.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and working with a wide range of stakeholders.

Office-based role that includes regular travel as and when required.
