Full Job Description

  • Responsible for the end to end Community marketing through multi-channel, effective and engaging campaigns.

  • Building and delivering plans to drive our Reputation and Community brand perception, demonstrating how everyone is welcome at Tesco.

  • Development, coaching and day to day management of the Marketing Assistant.

  • Crafting informative strategies to clarify the business and customer opportunity, and how to bring these concepts to life across our channels and customer touch-points

  • Analysing customer and market insight, to keep up with the latest data and make bold recommendations about where Tesco should prioritise for customers and communities.

  • Working closely with the Group Communications team to understand broader Community plans and bring these to live through multi-channel campaigns.

  • Building positive relationships across the business, bringing together a cross-functional team working collaboratively to deliver the plans.

  • Briefing agencies, assessing, feeding back on and developing a creative Campaign approach for propositions.

  • Working closely with the Media Planning team to create integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, and influencing Channel teams to create integrated comms.

  • Forecasting, managing and tracking of budgets for Community marketing, always looking for ways to optimise and be as efficient and effective as possible with every £.

  • Working closely with the insight team to review the effectiveness of the creative against set objectives.
