Full Job Description

As Marketing Operations Manager at Poundland, you will be a senior member of our marketing team, leading the operational planning and execution of all retail projects in our direct-to-consumer business. You will play a pivotal role in prioritising projects, managing timelines, overseeing budgets, and driving process improvements to ensure that our marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality., You will be at the heart of coordinating with our functional stakeholders and creative teams to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with our business strategy. Your insights into performance will directly shape the strategic development of our marketing plans.,

  • Project Management: Lead and execute marketing initiatives, ensuring effective communication and alignment with cross-functional and Pepco partners.

  • Insight Development: Analyse the performance and impact of key marketing initiatives and contribute to the strategic development of the marketing plan.

  • Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation, evaluate ROI, and provide recommendations for optimization.

  • Calendar Management: Track and communicate project timelines to support the timely delivery of creative concepts, in-store campaigns, quarterly customer initiatives, new store openings, and special projects.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with the Pepco marketing operations team and in-store marketing leads to ensure all UK/ROI activities are coordinated and deliver a best-in-class store experience.

  • Campaign Execution: Partner with brand and product marketing leads and supporting agencies to ensure campaigns are executed smoothly, on time, and within budget.

  • Communication Management: Drive internal communications on marketing activities across functions, ensuring clear, concise messaging to the wider retail team.

  • Continuous Improvement: Anticipate challenges, dismantle roadblocks, and escalate issues as needed to keep projects on track.
