Marketing & Portfolio Management Lead

As Marketing & Portfolio Management Lead your responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for the development and implementation of UK & Ireland marketing activity plan, including marketing budget and defining key actions required to implement the UK & Ireland Coatings Refinish marketing strategy aligned the global business strategy. You will monitor in-market and competitor activity on an ongoing basis to identify actionable opportunities.


• You will responsible for working with external marketing agencies to create all marketing materials in line with the BASF brand requirements and ensuring deadlines are met for publication. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and implementing BASF's media compliancy and be the primary contact for 3rd party publications and industry bodies where there is a requirement for BASF to provide a response or content creation.


• You will be responsible for some aspects of Product Management in the UK which will include setting and implementing product pricing and managing product data.


• You will be involved in UK & Ireland Coatings Refinish initiatives and projects within the areas such as sustainability and coordinating the business strategy.
  
  You are educated to degree level in Marketing/Business, you will have good marketing experience, ideally but not essentially from the automotive industry. In addition, you have experience with commercial management and have spent time with customers developing an understanding of their needs and supporting their campaigns.


• You are customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to show good commercial awareness and entrepreneurial flair when developing and implementing marketing campaigns. Your creative and driven nature will enable you to plan, lead and implement successful campaigns in line with commercial targets.


• Knowledge of SAP and Adobe would be advantageous but not essential.


• You possess a valid UK driving license, as overnight travel is required.
