Full Job Description

  • Support the team with building and maintaining the Partner rolling roadmap for Promotions and NPI launches across all relevant categories and all channels

  • Support Marketing Manager in operationalising Flagship launches and major marketing campaigns, supporting a cross-functional team of stakeholders, aligned as part of the over-arching strategy

  • Drive best in class channel engagement, expert product knowledge and enhanced product collateral across all assisted and unassisted sales journeys, providing clear portfolio objectives & target markets.

  • Own the end-to-end launch, technical readiness, delivery and operational processes for all NPI launches

  • Own the implementation and optimised execution for all Promotions and NPI launches across all relevant categories and all channels, reviewing market activity to establish best practice

  • Provide input to NPI and Marketing campaign PIR's as champion for channel implementation, engagement and operational efficiencies

  • Support the Marketing Manager in delivery of annual MSF budget target, including ownership of PoE

  • Support the Commercial Manager on driving core sales performance with responsibility for sales data collation and identifying core trends, issues and opportunities

  • Work with Central Forecasting and Supply Chain teams to ensure ongoing forecast accuracy and product availability

  • Drive best in class promotional campaigns, with focus on offer engagement, execution and conversion

  • Identify new opportunities for sales activities by reviewing stock risks & opportunities, market competitiveness near term P&L asks

    Core marketing skills: Good understanding of the marketing basics in respect of Product, Price, Promotion, Placement and People - what enables the marketing plan and how can you influence it. Keen to advance their marketing skillset as part of the personal development plan.

  • Commercial acumen: Good understanding of the mobile and/ or consumer electronics markets, the key commercial levers that influence sales and how your role might influence it. Confident in MS excel and how to collate, manipulate and assess key data sets.

  • Highly professional: Demonstrable professionalism, comfortable in a complex, fast-paced matrixed business environment

  • Bold & Pro-active approach: Bold and confident thinking, challenging the status quo where appropriate. Proven ability to make things happen, focused on delivering high quality end-product.

  • Attention to detail: Supports the team in driving a complex roadmap of activities across all segments, therein having an overview of key MSF, rebates and availability details that enable the sales plan

  • Work smart & organisation: Adept at managing change in a fast-moving trading environment, with clear prioritization and progress checking.

  • Stakeholder management: Patient, personal and respectable, ability to quickly establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders. Clear understanding of how you offer reciprocal support to your network

  • Good communicator: Clear and concise communicator, ensures stakeholders are clear on key objectives and supporting deliverables, remaining focused on the absolute priority

    This role strives to deliver excellence in Go To Market supporting the Marketing Manager in the planning and implementation for NPI launches, core marketing campaigns, partner promotions, partner training and engagement and PR/ Sponsorship type activities.

    The role also supports the Commercial Manager to ensure the key commercial deliverables that underpin these Sales activities, including core sales reporting & performance monitoring, product availability, promotional planning and interlock across the Partnership.
