Full Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Technology Solutions Engineer to help support in developing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Marketing Technology stack. Situated within the product team, this role is crucial for bringing marketing and technology teams together. Success in this role entails collaboration with marketing to understand their needs, translating these needs into technical requirements and solutions, and sharing these solutions with both technical and marketing teams.,

  • Partner with CRM, Acquisition, and Advertising teams to gather requirements and design effective solutions.

  • Develop and implement solutions using in-platform scripting with JavaScript, or create technical specifications for solutions to be built by development teams.

  • Integrate live API content into dynamic marketing assets, ensuring seamless real-time marketing experiences.

  • Collaborate with data teams to create specifications for new tracking implementations, or data pipelines.

  • Thoroughly understand the marketing technology stack, maximising its potential and identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools that empower marketing teams through automation.

  • Support in root cause analysis and debugging activities across marketing activity.

    Demonstrated experience working with JavaScript (SQL knowledge is a plus).

  • Proficiency in working with APIs, understanding best practices and considerations.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a focus on clear documentation and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

  • Track record of successful collaboration with diverse teams, particularly across the digital marketing landscape.

  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to problem-solving, with a passion for innovation and improvement.

  • Familiarity with the broader marketing technology ecosystem, including tools supporting advertising, tracking, data transformation, and analysis.

    Hybrid, minimum 2 days a week in the office Tues - Thurs

    Salary: up to £55K dependent upon experience,
