Full Job Description
- Take ownership for all phases of content production and optimization including planning, information gathering, writing, reviewing, editing, working with graphic designers to generate artwork, and final sign-off.
- Collaborate with our digital team and stakeholders to measure and report content effectiveness; use insights from analytics to improve content and content strategies.
- Ensure corporate branding guidelines are integrated into marketing communications.
Bachelor of Science degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, bioengineering, or related field - Multiple years of experience in science writing, journalism, copyrighting, or writing marketing communication materials for the life sciences.
- Strong writing, editing, and copyediting skills; careful attention to detail, and ability to work to a corporate style guide and develop SEO-rich documents to ensure that the content ranks well with search engines.
- Apply critical thinking and demonstrate a solid understanding of the scientific method, experimental design, and statistical analysis.
- Experience from the biopharmaceutical industry or a university research environment is considered a merit. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Demonstrated ability to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and SEO software.
- Ability to perform web analytics on published pages using web analytic tools such as Adobe Analytics and Mouseflow is advantageous.
