Full Job Description

In this interesting role you will research and analyse information recorded on police systems in order to provide confidential detailed written reports to Social Services for child protection purposes. You will review domestic abuse incidents involving children and prioritise information according to risk with partner agencies and set flags as appropriate. In addition, you will be responsible for making appropriate referrals in relation to adult protection. This is an office-based role where you will provide our partner agencies with reports as per agreed information sharing protocols. Proven experience of inter-agency partnership working with an understanding of child and/or adult protection is desirable. It is essential that you have the confidence to evaluate sensitive and confidential information and the ability to produce accurate reports that detail risk. Along with all other posts in Force Crime, Intelligence and Specialist Operations Departments, this role will require an enhanced
level of vetting. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the established psychological screening process. As part of the Thames Valley Police family you will enjoy a fantastic range of benefits including 24 days annual leave per annum, pro-rata for part time (plus Bank Holidays), flexible working conditions, a wide range of lifestyle discounts, career development opportunities and have the option to join a local government pension scheme.
