Full Job Description

As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Master Scheduler to create, coordinate, and manage our production and programme schedules in line with customer and business milestones.,

  • Creation and maintenance of production and programme schedules in Oracle P6 / Primavera Cloud in line production and sales forecasts
  • Proactively identify opportunities for labour/facility flexing between programmes and products, ensuring that production plans are always met whilst labour capacity is always fully utilised
  • Assess progress, track and analyse the impact of the programme or project schedule forecast changes to identify threats at the earliest opportunity
  • Direct the timely processing of schedule updates; monitor the accuracy of project schedules and version control changes
  • Prepare and present monthly S&OP data
  • Maintain and control the programme or project schedule baseline to reflect any contracted amendments
  • Control the allocation of contingency reserve and updates to the programme or project schedule baseline ensuring alignment to the risk register
  • Establishing and implementing standards and best practice across Programmes or products
  • Work with wider production planning team on short/long term business planning; labour and facility capacity levelling
  • Work with senior management to ensure the effective allocation of resources and facilities, support forward load and bid discussions
  • Supporting programme reviews to ensure that we are planning in line with the top level programme schedules and customer milestones
  • Supporting Oracle P6 / Primavera Cloud roll out when necessary and working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering and Production Planning teams.

    Previous proven experience of planning and scheduling of complex tasks within an aerospace or similar industrial environment
  • Ability to lead and support the S&OP process flow
  • Extensive experience working with Oracle P6 or Primavera Cloud
  • Experience of working within a SAP environment
  • Ability to ensure minimal disruption to the production line and consistent performance against production schedules and targets
  • Ability to work effectively within a team setting and also able to provide leadership when required
  • Appreciation of Project Management processes and principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability work effectively across departments
  • A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A flexible approach to work
  • UK driving license and ability to travel.
