We provide cutting-edge solutions to various industries, including oil and gas, power, water, and general industry. Due to a recent promotion, we are seeking a Materials Expeditor to join our team and ensure the smooth flow of materials within our operation.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components required for production.

  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Tracking and reporting on the status of incoming materials, resolving any issues that may arise in the supply chain.

  • Liaising with the production team to understand material requirements and priorities.

  • Collaborating with the procurement and logistics teams to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.

    Previous experience in a materials expediting or supply chain role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Proficiency in using ERP systems for tracking and managing inventory.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
