Full Job Description

The position is Monday to Friday 07:30 - 15:30. Main duties will be to assist Receipts & Distribution Manager in providing and maintaining high level of standards within the department. To deliver an efficient service for the trust., Assist in the receipt and distribution of ad hoc deliveries including the management of stock ordered for the bulk stores facility. Take responsibility for the security of goods from the point of receipt and ensure stock is correctly stored and distributed to all Areas. Comply with the principles of risk management including health and safety legislation, promoting high standards and acting immediately on hazards or unsafe practices in conjunction with other staff. Undertake any other tasks as required by the Operational Purchasing Manager or Materials Management Supervisor in accordance with the grade and nature of the post as required.
