Full Job Description

  • Providing effective leadership and develop the engagement of the Buyers


  • Working with suppliers to improve supplier performance across multiple metrics


  • Effective project management and coordination to deliver all materials and projects in line with SQDC requirements


  • Regularly reviewing all KPI's, communicate, prioritise, develop, and implement plans to improve the performance of the supply chain including suppliers, manufacturing locations and regional distribution centres


  • Identifying areas of risk in the supply chain, effectively prioritise, develop and implement plans to mitigate such risk


  • Developing supplier relationships and drive improvement in supplier performance by way of recognising both positive and negative achievements and communicating effectively to promote the pursuit of excellence and best practice both internally and externally

    Educated to degree level or equivalent (either business or engineering focus)


  • A willingness and ability to travel abroad frequently (EMEA)


  • A high degree of self-motivation and ability to work alone and as part of a team


  • Experience of negotiating project and technical requirements with System Integrators and the User community


  • Proven track record of continuous improvement.


  • Experience in lean manufacturing including Kanban, PFEP, LEAN


    • Ideally, you will also have

  • Supply Chain Management qualification


  • Leadership experience across different countries


  • Understanding of ERP systems
